BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY

My primary goal is to help you achieve yours. This motto is the basis for the leadership and business coaching I do as well as when working with Buyers and Sellers with my business partner and wife, Pat.We roll up our sleeves and work closely with each individual in a hands-on people-first approach.  No two real estate transactions are the same.  Therefore, it is critical to personalize a strategy to help you move forward.  Our high profile marketing and advertising programs offer the flexibility and national exposure that result in success. Our clients are supported by a vast arsenal of tools, resources, and expertise that serve to enhance our community, our business, and our economy.
________________________________________ EDUCATION & TRAINING
I earned my real estate license in 2003 and am a current member and former director of the Fort Collins Board of Realtors.  In 2011, I was recognized by my peers locally as Realtor of the Year for my contributions to our local association and community.  I also hold the Certified New Homes Sales Professional designation and the e-Pro designation recognizing superior knowledge of the Internet and other technologically advanced tools.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in English Education from Colorado State, write periodically for the local newspaper real estate section and post blogs regularly on the topics of real estate, market trends, and personal achievement, and serve on the board of managers for IRESIS, LLC, the multiple listing service for Northern Colorado.
________________________________________ PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
My professional background includes roles as a Managing Broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fort Collins, General Manager for Kinko’s Copies in Hawaii, and a General Contractor and Homebuilder in California and Colorado. I am a Certified Integrity Systems coach and trainer.  Born and raised in Northern Colorado, choosing Coldwell Banker was a natural fit due to the brand’s extensive local history, nationally recognized branding, leading market share, marketing resources, dynamic leadership, and superior training and education programs.

In addition to working with buyers and sellers of real estate, I also provide public speaking, training, and coaching services to a broad audience throughout the region.  My hope is to share what I’ve learned about people, sales, and building wealth through real estate.  To help agents, consumers, and other business leaders take advantage of the emerging trends in the marketplace is powerfully rewarding!
________________________________________ PERSONAL BACKGROUND
In my time away from the office, I love to fly-fish and enjoy living year-round in our little log home up the Poudre Canyon. Pat and I travel often and if we could travel more, we would. I am an avid reader (mostly non-fiction) but don't hesitate to sink my teeth into a good Michael Connelly novel.  I work out my love of carpentry by doing remodeling and furniture building.
