About Me

I am a native of Colorado, growing up in Littleton, going to college at CU - Boulder, and have continued to live in Denver proper for many years. I married Tom Valdez when I thought I would be the spinster of the year 2000 and beyond and am thrilled to have found a perfect match. He has three grown children, and we have a black and white cat named Stache.  I have been a world traveler, first in the international group Up with People in 1978 and again as a flight attendant for both Frontier Airlines, and United Airlines. The airline industry changed dramatically, and I had an injury that prohibited me from flying any more so I found my second career. The enjoyment I get when working with buyers and especially with the first time buyers is thrilling. They are the kids I never had so they all have a special place in my heart and mind. The staging and primping of the seller's homes is so rewarding for me, I enjoy making the home sparkle for the prospective buyers to come in and want to buy! I work diligently when matching my clients and their needs so that I can be clear as to what they really want from their real estate experiences. I love fashion and have worked at Nordstrom Cherry Creek as a personal stylist and a lingerie specialist, loving my work with the breast cancer survivors in their prosthesis program. My motto is never take more than you give, and I continue to contribute in my community in many areas. I continue to be active in the Junior League of Denver with the Sustainer Council. I have been on the Up with People Gala host committee for 3 years, my UWP cast representative, a Member of the International Alumni Association of UWP and served on their board for 7 years, and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. My partners at Coldwell Banker are my sorority sisters- what a treat to share our time, business, and fun together.
