Who Is Dave?

Born and raised in Colorado I have a long family history dating back to the late 1800s.  Real estate has always had some signficance in my life and history.  My great grandparents owned land up and down what is now the I-70 corridor beginning in Idaho Springs through Georgetown and Silver Plume.  Back then this passage was know as the old 6 & 40 Highways.

More recently, my great uncle made his career after farming in the real estate business.  He was a smart and saavy professional in Littleton and earned much respect from his peers, clients, and community.  I try to model my professional life after his.

Besides my family, reasons I love Colorado include:  skiing, hiking, biking, camping, beautiful and varied geography, and distinctive seasons.  These are just some of the commonalities with why people move and love living in Colorado and why it has grown tremendously in the last 30 years.

For those from outside the state, not only is the "outdoor" appeal alluring but also the robust and ever diversifying economic base.  Denver in the pioneering days was heralded as the place "out west" to be.  With mining and the spoils of the mountains also came culture and high society.  It drew the likes of international and local fame, but most notably, Molly Brown.

Denver had lost its "shine" in the mid-part of the last century but has been aggressively beating a path into the pages of history again.  We have experienced unprecendented population, job, and economic growth.  Today, the Denver area is as diversified as its people.  Cultural venues, major sporting clubs of every kind, nightlife rivaling the biggest metro areas, museums, zoos, international film festivals, local festivals and community events, a vast biking and walking trail system, shopping and dining, just to scratch the surface.  Come see for yourself!
