Professional Biography:

Your needs are what drives me to be the best I can be. Being strong-willed, high energy, determined and caring, I am a positive, focused woman who is absolutely proud to be your Realtor®! My passions include being a realtor, my family, the military, and dogs. When you need an advocate in buying and selling a home, I bring these same passions to your family. I would like to help you get to know me by sharing my story with you. With over 20 years in the business, I have made my focus the needs of my clients.

Proudly working with Coldwell Banker since 2000, I focus on real estate in Boulder, Weld, Larimer, Adams, Jefferson, and Morgan counties comprising the majority of communities north of Denver. My specialties include estate sales, university proximity properties, last homes, 1st time home buyers, 2nd and 3rd homes, relocation, and investment properties.

My Personal Journey to Real Estate:

My Colorado story started in 1981 with a dream to raise a family and give them what I missed growing up. Tragically, I lost my husband shortly after that, and I struggled to raise my family as a single parent. Sometimes, I worked up to three jobs to keep my dream of a better life for my children alive. Working for the Housing Authority gave me a unique education behind the scenes of how people were treated in the "old" real estate environment. I became passionate about making sure that homes were safe to occupy. However, the pay was low, and the hours were long. I knew this was not what I wanted for my family, but I stayed because of the insurance for my children.

I did not know it at the time, but Mead was a prime location for me because of the easy access to Interstate 25. You know what they say in Real Estate: location, location, location. This was when my business began to boom. I was able to travel up and down the I-25 corridor with my clients, becoming well versed in all Boulder, Weld, and Larimer counties had to offer. Since then, I have worked tirelessly for every client, and I enjoy working with them. I hope to work with you soon!

Throughout my life, I have been a private person, but this simple statement has always served me well: I believe in God, Family, and Country! I am from a military family where I am the oldest of four. My dad is a Marine, "Oohrah." My brothers are Marine and Army, and most of my extended family have served or are serving our country. I partnered with the Army National Guard in Longmont, and in honor of all military personnel and their families, I decided to tackle one of my biggest fears: Acrophobia or the fear of heights. On October 28, 2008, I jumped from an airplane over Longmont.

My partnership with the Army National Guard on this jump in Longmont quickly turned very personal. As a surprise to me, they had located my brother, who was serving in Iraq, and I was able to talk with him. I dedicated my jump to him. That began my ongoing relationship with the National Guard in Longmont. I treasure the sacrifice made by men and women fighting for our freedom and the families who carry on without them. Last year I was greatly honored by this unit, becoming a recipient of The Order of Molly Pitcher Medallion. My coworkers at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage always adopt families to assist me. I love seeing the looks on the children's faces when they get their presents.

One other thing you might notice about me are my dogs. They are my loves and my constant companions while at home in Mead or at my husband's family farm in Sterling, CO. I have the need for a companion animal, and I am able to connect other people with their own companion. I work with veterans and trainers. Dogs truly are man's and woman's best friend! I often connect with many clients before they need a Real Estate agent because of our love of dogs.
